It what many insurance brokers may see as a blow to business, another major insurer has signed up to offer its products through a comparison website.
Zurich Australian Insurance Limited has joined iSelect’s general insurance broker panel, in a partnership that will see the insurer offer its general insurance products through the online comparison website, starting with commercial motor policies.
“Through iSelect we will bring a compelling insurance proposition, initially in commercial motor, to the small business market,” said

“We are looking forward to working with iSelect to explore other areas we can work with iSelect in the commercial insurance space.”
Scott Wilson, iSelect managing director and CEO, said the company was pleased to connect Zurich’s products to its more than nine million online visitors.
“Zurich is a long-standing, strategic partner of iSelect, having been on our life insurance panel for many years. We are thrilled to expand this partnership beyond life insurance into general insurance.”
The initiative is part of Zurich’s Partnerships & Programs stream, with Zurich’s Z.stream platform used by iSelect to generate quotes and bind covers for consumers.
