Zurich Insurance Group has rolled out an online platform designed to simplify the process of structuring international insurance programmes.

The new Zurich Global Placement Support (GPS) Tool provides large multinational businesses with valuable information to assist in the design of international programmes and reduces uncertainty and complexity in the decision-making process, the insurance giant said in a statement.

The online platform also grants clients access to independent and accurate legislative and regulatory data and insights, allowing them to make informed decisions when selecting insurance coverage across different jurisdictions.

“Multinational companies are operating in an increasingly globalised and complex environment where insurance regulation varies from country to country,” said Vinicio Cellerini, head of commercial insurance customer and distribution at Zurich. “Adherence to local insurance legislation and understanding international regulation is critical when structuring international insurance programmes.”

The Zurich GPS Tool is an expansion of the Multinational Insurance Application the global insurer established as part of its Multinational Insurance Proposition.

It uses modern technology to enable users to oversee and manage their insurance coverage in a rapidly evolving environment and to put in place the right protection for their workforce and assets. The insurer’s clients can access the online tool via the My Zurich customer platform, while non-customers can request independent access to the tool.
