In his new role, Witjaksono will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the Australian and New Zealand property portfolio across Chubb’s major accounts, mid-market, and small commercial segments. He will be based in Sydney and report to Hayden Baker, head of property and casualty at Chubb Australia and New Zealand.

Commenting on the appointment, Chubb ANZ country president Peter Kelaher highlighted Witjaksono’s extensive property insurance expertise and strong track record of leading market-facing underwriting teams to deliver profitable growth.

“Since joining Chubb in 2022, [Adit] has demonstrated a strategic approach to client management and business development, building impactful relationships with our partners and clients. Adit’s promotion is another example of the excellent career opportunities for high-calibre individuals at Chubb,” he said.

Witjaksono took on the new role following Ben McGregor’s appointment as head of property APAC and Japan in October 2023.
