Claim Central Consolidated (CCC) has expanded its Virtual Inspections as a Service (VIaaS) offering due to what the claims solutions provider described as “overwhelming” demand from insurers amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Not knowing when social distancing restrictions will be relaxed, insurers are increasingly looking for solutions that can help them scale operations to meet changing demand influenced by government directives, customer behaviours, or catastrophic weather events,” asserted CCC, which employs remote desktop assessors who connect directly with policyholders to inspect and assess claims.

Using live video streaming and collaboration platform LiveLogik, the VIaaS proposition can be leveraged in property, motor, cyber, and business SME claims assessments. It is available to both existing and new insurance clients.

“At this unprecedented time we are doing everything we can to support our clients, their customers, and employees,” said CCC global chief executive Brian Siemsen. “And that has meant expanding our VIaaS offering to allow more claims to be processed faster while ensuring we meet health and safety needs amid concerns of the spread of the virus.”
