Strategic analytics firm Finity has bolstered its tech capabilities by appointing Marcello Negro head of product management and marketing, and Edward Owen as head of product development and innovation.

Negro is a principal at Finity with more than 10 years of experience in general insurance and deep technical expertise in pricing, automation, and data analytics. He has extensive experience delivering technology-based solutions.

Owen is also a principal at Finity with 30 years of experience in software development and architecture, database design, optimisation methods, statistical analysis, mathematical modelling and algorithms, and AI and machine learning. He joined the firm following the acquisition of AI firm Deep Logic in 2019.

Moving Finity forward

Commenting on his appointment, Negro said he was proud of becoming part of the firm’s technological evolution.

I am proud to be part of the next evolution of Finity’s technology journey, taking Finity’s vision forward and driving how we design, build, manage, and market our technology capability,” he said.

It encompasses the latest artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques, underpinned by robust process automation. I am excited to lead [the] software development team, using our unique collaborative approach to build tailored solutions that facilitate growth for our clients.”
