A passionate customer advocate, Amy is committed to ensuring that New Zealanders have access to the information they need to make their own decisions around insurance and have an easy way to implement them. Her focus on ensuring that both her own and her team’s work adds value to customers has empowered the people around her and is a touchstone in decision-making processes across individual teams and the whole business.
As Pinnacle Life’s General Manager of Operations, Amy is responsible for overseeing and ensuring optimal business performance. She ensures that customers remain at the centre of business processes and projects while providing technical expertise and leadership for process and product development and strategic thinking to drive business growth and success. Having worked across Insurance & Banking in strategic and operational roles before joining Pinnacle Life in 2018, recently, much of her activity has focused on expanding Pinnacle Life’s risk management framework in a challenging and evolving regulatory environment. She has spent the last two years designing, developing, and implementing a Digital Advice tool that is the first of its kind in New Zealand to provide personalised life insurance online.
