AIA NZ has appointed Claire Dalton (pictured above) as regional manager – business development for the Northern Region.
Prior to joining AIA NZ, Dalton was national sales manager for Audi New Zealand, working with the automaker’s dealer network. Dalton has predominantly worked in the financial services area of the automotive industry for most of her career, but she is no stranger to the insurance industry, as her first job out of school was at an insurance broker.
“We are excited to welcome Claire to the team in this important role,” said Sharron Botica, AIA NZ chief partnership distribution officer. “Claire has a wealth of leadership, coaching and relationship management experience. She comes to AIA from a different, but extremely competitive, industry, and her expertise and fresh thinking will be invaluable to the ongoing success of our already high-performing business development team.”
