The Geneva Association has named four new board members, including Aviva Plc chief executive Maurice Tulloch.

An announcement by the global organisation of insurance and reinsurance chief executive officers outlined that Tulloch as well as Ping An Insurance Company of China co-CEO Yuansiong Lee, Prudential Financial chief executive Charles F. Lowrey, and The People’s Insurance Company of China chairman Jianmin Miao had been elected.

“I am pleased that such prominent insurance leaders have accepted to serve on our board of directors,” stated The Geneva Association chairman Charles Brindamour.

“Yuansiong Lee, Charles F. Lowrey, Jianmin Miao, and Maurice Tulloch bring with them a wealth of experience and backgrounds; their voices will be a tremendous addition to our board in times of unprecedented economic, social, environmental, and technological changes for the industry.”

The Geneva Association managing director Jad Ariss cited the trade body’s role as a promoter of the contributions of insurance to economies and societies.

“As we energise our value proposition for the insurance industry, our work will greatly benefit from the insights of our new board members,” commented Ariss.
