Entries and nominations for the 2023 Financial Services Council (FSC) Awards are now open, with categories available for distinct individuals, teams, and organisations across the financial services industry.

The awards will shine a light on the outstanding people and groups in Aotearoa who have done great work in the past year, with FSC also announcing brand new categories as part of this year’s ceremonies.

Here is the list of awards this year, as per the official FSC page:

  • Emerging Trailblazer award – recognises promising future leaders in the sector in the last 18 months
  • Workplace Savings award – recognises excellence in the New Zealand workplace savings community
  • Team of the Year award – recognises an outstanding team that delivered success within their organisation as well as the wider NZ financial services industry
  • Contribution to Community award – recognises an initiative that has had an outstanding impact on the financial wellbeing of Kiwis, and is open to non-member non-profit charities and FSC-member organisations
  • Excellence in Governance award – recognises a team that have gone above and beyond in practicing good governance in the industry
  • Excellence in Wellbeing and Inclusion award – recognises a team that works inclusively and collaboratively to deliver success to their organisation
  • Excellence in Sustainability Practices award – a new award this year, this celebrates an organisation that demonstrated a forward-thinking approach for sustainability in the sector
  • Chairman’s Award for Service to the Industry – recognises an individual who has significantly contributed to the advancement and improvement of the financial services sector over the course of their career

The FSC Awards will be presented during the Building Consumer Confidence Conference gala dinner on Aug. 16.
