An ASX-listed media company and a global information solutions company that provides data and insights into the finance and insurance sectors in Australia and NZ have entered into a new strategic partnership.

The deal will enable Nine Entertainment to leverage Equifax’s rich insights and extensive consumer segments across the publisher’s network, allowing marketers to extend their offerings to better serve finance and insurance clients.

The tie-up will see Equifax’s extensive descriptive and predictive consumer segments getting launched across Nine’s online properties, including news website nine.com.au.

“Marketers are facing growing challenges regarding the speed and depth of relevant insights when trying to reach their target audience online. This partnership enables them to use relevant data and insights to create new customer segments,” said Luis Fleita, head of digital and partnerships at Equifax.

Alex Parsons, chief digital and marketing officer at Nine, also commented on the partnership: “We believe that this new deal will be particularly attractive to marketers and agencies working in the finance and insurance space, who will be keen to leverage the power of Equifax’s rich insights.”
