An explosion rocked a train station in Brussels, Belgium today. The station was evacuated and the situation is “under control,” a Belgian law enforcement official told ABC News.

One suspect has been shot by the military, according to ABC News. Sources said the suspect was wearing what seemed to be an explosive belt, but authorities have not yet confirmed whether it was real.

Arash Aazami, an eyewitness, told ABC News that he heard two explosions and gunfire. Another eyewitness also said he heard two detonations.

The kind of explosive device used wasn’t immediately clear, according to ABC News. The bomb squad was called in to check for additional explosives.
