BGC Insurance Group (BGCI) wants only the best people boarding its new global aviation and space (re)insurance broker, which has made another high-profile appointment.

The president, who himself was previously with Marsh Aviation and JLT Aerospace, added: “I am delighted, both personally and professionally, to welcome Mark to our growing team.”
The insurance division of BGC Partners, BGCI, is the name behind specialist brands Ed, Besso, Junge, and Cooper Gay France. It recently recruited Smaje, a former chief executive at Willis Towers Watson’s global aviation practice.
