The IAG NZ Legal Team was recently honoured with the Financial Services In-House Legal Team of the Year Award at the New Zealand Law Awards. This recognition marks a significant achievement for the team, reflecting their proficiency in the legal arena.
The award was based on the assessment of a judging panel. The panel highlighted the team's strategic and innovative contributions, particularly their comprehensive understanding and involvement in various business aspects under challenging circumstances.
This accolade not only underscores the IAG NZ Legal Team's dedication and expertise but also their commitment to the company's operations, the company said.
The team's achievement was celebrated at the New Zealand Law Awards, an event that acknowledges excellence in the legal profession.
In the same event, AIA NZ, MAS – Medical Assurance Society, Partners Life Legal team, and Perpetual Guardian – Legal also bagged excellence awards.
Elsewhere for the insurance group, AMI – part of IAG – has introduced HomeHub, a comprehensive home repair service, to signal a new business avenue for the Kiwi insurer.
