Insurtech start-up InsuredHQ has announced it is one of the 25 international early-stage start-ups chosen to pitch at the Global InsurTech Roadshow, which will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from March 13-14.

The roadshow is organised by the Goethe Business School in cooperation with InsurTech Asia. Start-ups will participate in pitch-sessions and discussion rounds and compete for the Goethe InsurTech Award to be handed out at a networking dinner on day one.

InsuredHQ chief executive officer Pauline Davies said to be chosen out of the many applicants from across the globe is an amazing achievement.

“It is fantastic to be able to showcase innovative thinking from a small country, on the world stage,” Davies said. “I am so excited to be attending such a prestigious event, to see what others are doing in the insurtech space, and to talk on the world stage about InsuredHQ’s vision of insurance in the future.”

On day two, a panel of experts will run workshop sessions that will focus on the latest digital trends and common learnings ranging from Amazon, blockchain and cyber to the latest platform-solutions.

“It’s not every day that a small New Zealand start-up gets to present to such a global audience,” she added. “We’re ready to give it everything we have.”

InsuredHQ is a founding member of the insurtech working group, which is part of FinTechNZ.
