AA Insurance has taken out the top honours for contact centre customer service winning the Supreme Awards category along with Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand (MMNZ).

The direct insurer won the Diamond Award for contact centres with more than 50 seats while MMNZ won the same category award for less than 50 seats.

AAI also took the Diamond Award for website Live Chat, making it a double whammy night.
Sponsor of the Diamond Award, Randstad New Zealand, said the quality of the entries in the national CRM Contact Centre Awards was impressive.

“In every category the dedication and passion for what they do is evident,” Randstad national manager for contact centre, Brooke Nelson, said.

“We know as a recruitment and HR specialist that a skilled and happy workforce is crucial to the success of a company as they’re at the coalface of a business.

“They play a huge role in how customers perceive a company.”

This year’s awards attracted more than 750 people, which the event’s organisers said reflected its prestige and the significance of the industry across the country.
