Elantis Premium Funding has announced it is launching Elantis Learning Academy in what the company is calling a first of its kind in the premium funding industry.

As Insurance Business reported last year, Elantis promised it would be working on ways to build rewarding relationships with brokers.

Now, the company says it has done just that, by responding to brokers who expressed their desire to attend a formal education and development program.

Speaking recently about the initiative to Insurance Business, Jurgen Rammesmayer, Elantis’ CEO, said, “As part of our commitment to partnering with our brokers, we’re looking at ways not just to provide premium funding for them but find ways we can actually add value to their operations.”

The aim will be to help educate brokers and their staff across a number of topics including the customer experience, economic updates (focusing on local markets), and technology in business.

Elantis has initially partnered with NIBA to ensure CPD points can be earned for attending the Elantis Learning Academy program.

Events will be held across Australia and New Zealand throughout 2015 with the first event kicking off in Sydney next month.

This session will feature presenter Sean Hall, an awarded innovator, leader and strategist who was recently recognised as one of 30 elite Australian marketers selected for The Marketing Academy – a scholarship program sponsored by Google, NewsCorp, Foxtel and CBA.

Hall will present on ‘Energising the Customer Experience’ and will provide strategies to acquire and retain customers in a changing marketplace.
