PSC Insurance Group (PSC) has appointed David Hosking as its new chief executive officer (CEO) for Australia and New Zealand.

Hosking has a long history and deep understanding of the insurance industry, particularly the insurance broking and intermediary markets. Before joining PSC, he served as the chief general manager for the broker and agency division of Allianz Australia.

In his new role, Hosking will be responsible for the Australian Specialty and Agency businesses, which remain under Adam Burgess. He will also be responsible for the Network Insurance (Connect and Reliance) businesses under Tony Walker and the Australian Broking business under Pat Miller. He will also focus on IT, workers’ compensation, and life broking.

“We believe the addition of David to the PSC team continues our efforts to be constantly growing our capabilities and will help us as we strive to double the size of the business again over the next four years,” PSC said in a statement.
