Not long after a new CEO was named for the unit, Zurich North America has made another executive change.

The company has appointed Vince Santivasi as the new head of direct markets for Zurich North America, replacing David Putz, who was tapped to serve as head of alternative markets for Zurich.

The change comes after the company welcomed former alternative markets head Kathleen Savio as its new CEO for the region.

“These are exciting times for Zurich and our direct markets business unit; but especially for our customers,” said Putz. “Our ability to fill the head direct markets position with someone from within our own automotive family is something to celebrate. Vince has been successful over his 14-year career at Zurich due to his unrelenting focus on doing the right things for our customers and our distributors.”

Santivasi was previously the head of sales for direct markets & programs. A release said that he is an automotive industry specialist and has shared his expertise on the matter as a course instructor and workshop leader for the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).

“Vince’s vast knowledge of the direct markets’ organisation and the customers we serve will ensure that our leadership transition is smooth and effective,” Putz commented.
