PIC Insurance Brokers has announced the appointment of Prerna Singh (pictured) to the position of head of claims.

Singh, who previously held the role of senior claims specialist at the firm, steps into her new position with over 12 years of experience in the New Zealand insurance industry.

According to LinkedIn, her career began at Tower Insurance in Auckland, where she spent a decade in various commercial claims roles. Her journey continued at Ando Insurance Group, where she was part of the property claims team for two years.

Singh joined PIC Insurance Brokers in July, and her subsequent promotion to head of claims marks a significant step in her professional trajectory.

In her new role, Singh will lead a dedicated claims team comprising eight staff members, spread across the company's offices in East Tamaki, Pukekohe, Takapuna, Cambridge, Papamoa, and Timaru.

“The PIC claims team has so much experience, skill, and value collectively and I am looking forward to working with and learning from each individual as we grow as a team. PIC is committed to providing a comprehensive timely claims service to all our clients to ensure the best possible outcome,” Singh said.
