Arjun Ramdas is making the switch from Microsoft, where he served as the tech giant’s practice leader for consulting services in the UK, to join Charles Taylor on September 02 in his capacity as chief executive of Charles Taylor InsureTech.

“I am excited to lead a team that combines Charles Taylor’s insurance heritage with a deep understanding of relevant technologies, and real-world business transformation experience,” said Ramdas, who started in Microsoft as services practice leader for financial services and insurance after spending more than a decade at Cognizant.

Happy to welcome the key hire is Charles Taylor group chief executive Rob Brown, who himself came onboard recently at the company which provides services and technology solutions to the global insurance market. He described the incoming colleague as having a strong track record of building high-performing teams that have consistently delivered technology-led client benefits.

“This client focus, coupled with his deep technology expertise, will really help us define the next chapter of success for not only our InsureTech business but also Charles Taylor as a whole,” asserted the group CEO.

Meanwhile, Ramdas added: “The insurance industry is poised for a significant period of transformative change, and Charles Taylor InsureTech is in a strong position to drive this change through its industry insider perspective coupled with process & technology know-how and a consultative approach.”
