AXA Affin General Insurance Bhd (AAGI) has been named as one of Malaysia’s best employers in the fourth edition of the Malaysia’s Best Employer Brand Awards.

The award recognises the insurer’s excellence as one of the most preferred employers in the country, particularly through exemplary human resource practices.

“We are honoured to receive this award as it acknowledges our effort in gearing everything we do towards creating a culture of innovation, inclusion, and trust which empowers our people to grow,” Mohd Syukri bin Ahmad Sudari, chief human resource officer of AAGI, said.

AAGI’s programs for employee empowerment and enrichment provide training and development opportunities for its over 900 employees across 24 offices, leveraging the AXA Group’s global network.

Aside from classroom and online training sessions, employees have the opportunity to train overseas with short-term assignments within AXA offices across the globe. AAGI also sponsors certification for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for all employees and provides full reimbursement for professional memberships.

The Malaysia’s Best Employer Brand Awards are organised by the Employer Branding Institute, World HRD Congress, and Star of the Industry Group, and endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses.
