Assicurazioni Generali has transferred its Asia and Hong Kong offices to Cityplaza One, Tai Koo Shing.

This encompasses Generali’s Asia regional office (Generali Asia), its Hong Kong businesses, Generali Life (Hong Kong) Limited and Assicurazioni Generali s.p.a. – Hong Kong Branch (Generali Hong Kong) and the regional offices of its global business lines, Generali Global Corporate and Commercial (GC&C) Asia, Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) Asia, and Generali Global Health (GGH) Asia.

According to the insurer, the move will support delivery of its strategy and enhance its service to customers, with the new office space providing its employees with a work environment that is more agile, collaborative, inclusive, and sustainable.

The new office, Generali said, supports its efforts to foster an inclusive working environment by catering to the diverse needs of the company’s employees and visitors, including, for example, braille signs and a mothers’ room. Also, in line with the company’s commitment to sustainability, the new office’s facilities encourage recycling and reducing energy consumption.

“Our office relocation is a key step forward in supporting our shift towards a culture that embraces our clients and distributors as lifetime partners and to ensure that as one team, we can deliver our group’s strategy and ambition,” Rob Leonardi, Generali’s Asia regional officer, said. “We are grateful to have called 8 Queen’s Road East home for six years and now look forward to the opportunities our new premises will provide by improving our collaboration and streamlining our processes and communications to drive greater efficiency and, ultimately, a better service for our customers.”

“Our new office will provide a better operating environment that will transpire into the service we provide for our customers, through faster and smarter ways of working and the ability to prioritise innovation and the digital experience,” added Cillin O’Flynn, CEO of Generali Hong Kong. “As well as being cost-effective, the office design is more open, friendly and modern which is aligned to our brand.”
