AHI) has announced a partnership with medical advisory firm Best Doctors.
Best Doctors offers clients access to over 50,000 medical specialists who can provide medical diagnosis, a second opinion or treatment options. The exclusive partnership will see the Best Doctors service made available to AHI’s individual personal accident policyholders.

Danny Byrnes, CEO of AHI, said that the deal helps clients of the firm access the right advice wherever they are located.
“Best Doctors is there to assist AHI policyholders facing any injury, illness or medical condition,” Byrnes said. “The service is also extended to our policyholders’ partners, children, parents and in-laws.”
The partnership will also grant policyholders access to everyday medical advice via an online portal and the service is automatically added to individual personal accident policies obtained through the underwriting agency. Best Doctors had previously signed a similar partnership agreement with
CGU, which owns AHI, last year in a move that saw the Best Doctors service offered to rural clients and their families.
The move comes as AHI announces “sustainable” price increases across its book due to inflated medical costs and increases in claims size and frequency.
