Arch Insurance Australia has appointed Sebastian Allison as senior property underwriter responsible for further diversification and growth across the company's property and business interruption insurance portfolio, specialising in the hospitality, low-hazard SME, poultry, and retail sectors.
Allison, who has over eight years of property insurance experience, re-joins Arch Insurance Australia, having previously worked in the property insurance team. He most recently served as an underwriter at Liberty Specialty Markets and property underwriter at SLE Worldwide Australia.
In his new role, Allison will report to Mark Bailey, the underwriting manager for property at Arch Insurance Australia.
Dominic Brannigan, the regional manager for Australia at Arch, commented: “We are very excited that Seb is joining our growing property insurance team, particularly given his extensive market knowledge and breadth of broker connections. We see strong market potential to expand our position not only in the property sector but across other business lines. He will play a key role in supporting that growth strategy.”
