The Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC) has appointed Samantha Lawrence as governance and compliance general manager effective March 01.
A skilled governance professional with more than one and a half decades of experience in board secretary posts, Lawrence most recently served as chief of staff to the CEO at Insurance and Care NSW (icare). Her credentials include time spent as icare’s inclusion and diversity general manager.
Lawrence was also previously with the former WorkCover NSW’s Workers Compensation Insurance Fund, as well as Safety, Return to Work, and Support.
“Samantha Lawrence brings solid experience in board secretary roles with government organisations, including strategic governance, as well as insurance industry and government experience,” commented ARPC chief executive Dr Christopher Wallace.
“Samantha will also add to our continuing focus on diversity and inclusion and championing these initiatives.”
