AXIS Capital Holdings has appointed Lori Bailey as global head of growth within the global cyber and technology division, according to an announcement made by the company.

In her new role, Bailey will report to Dan Trueman, global head of cyber and technology.

“Lori's reputation in the cyber sphere is second to none when it comes to shaping successful growth strategies and delivering rapid results,” Trueman said. “As we step up our ambition within the global cyber and technology team to identify new markets and enhance our footprint in areas where we see greater opportunity to grow with our partners, Lori's expertise and experience will be an enormous asset to us and the wider AXIS team. We're delighted to welcome Lori on board.”

Prior to joining AXIS, Bailey served as chief insurance officer at Corvus, a cyber-focused MGA. In that role, she led the risk capital and capital procurement strategy, as well as overseeing actuarial, catastrophe modelling, and captive management. Before her time at Corvus, Bailey held senior positions at Zurich Insurance Group, as well as underwriting and client advisory roles at AIG and Marsh.

Last month, AXIS Capital announced the appointment of Rebecca O’Kill as chief data and analytics officer. The company also appointed Mark Gregory as head of global markets and Michael J. McKenna as head of North America.
