Insurance brokerage CRM Brokers has attracted specialist strata professional Glenn Goodacre into a client relationship manager role.

Having operated as a business development manager at CHU for the last 8 years, Goodacre has spent a total of 10 years specialising in the strata industry.

His roles have included working as a strata managing agent, and as member services manager for Strata Community Australia, known formerly as ISTM.

CRM Brokers director Damien Coorey said Goodacre 'deeply' understands the strata insurance sector, and would be charged with ensuring its insurance brokers address the needs of the strata industry.

"Glenn brings energy, experience and a unique perspective to our business, and it's not every day that a business like ours has an opportunity to employ someone of that calibre," Coorey said.

Prior to his strata career, Goodacre spent almost 15 years in the banking and finance sector, where he worked for an investment bank in mortgages and securitised lending.

His experience included implementing new loan products and automated loan approval systems for mortgage underwriting and settlements.

Goodacre will be based in Sydney in CRM Brokers' strata division office.
