Marsh took Large Broking Company of the Year. Guardian Insurance Brokers won the Small-Medium Broking Company of the Year category. Community Broker Network was named Authorised Representative Network of the Year.
Coalition won Small-Medium Underwriting Agency of the Year. Adica Insurance took Small-Medium General Insurance Company of the Year and Allianz won the Large General Insurance Company of the Year category. NobleOak was named Life Insurance Company of the Year. Curium won Insurtech Start-up of the Year. SHARPS Australia won Professional Services Firm of the Year and BizCover was named Service Provider to the Insurance Industry. Alan Xian of Taylor Fry and the University of NSW was named Young Insurance Professional of the Year.
Three individuals received the evening's highest honours. Chris Mackinnon was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his decades of leadership and advocacy across the Australian insurance profession. Kimberley Jonsson was named Insurance Leader of the Year. ANZIIF also posthumously honoured Tim Wedlock with a Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising his career and lasting legacy within the profession.
ANZIIF CEO Katrina Shanks said the winners reflect the depth of talent across the industry. "Their achievements set a benchmark for excellence and remind us that insurance is, above all, a profession built on trust, expertise and service," she said.
The ANZIIF Australian Insurance Industry Awards are in their 22nd year.
