CUA has announced its continued sponsorship of CUA Conduit Pre-Accelerator Program, and is inviting aspiring entrepreneurs to apply for the 12-week placement based at River City's Lab innovation space in Brisbane.
The CUA-backed program provides start-ups with full-time desk membership that will help turn their ideas into a strong business proposition, through support such as structured mentoring, specialist masterclasses, and support with publicity and promotion.
“We are looking forward to partnering with CUA again to deliver an expertly tailored program to drive innovation for micro-business,” said River City Labs CEO Peta Ellis. “We expect to see a high calibre of applications from teams with products already in the market, that will gain value from the workshops and mentor sessions and ready to fast track their progress.”
Melissa Witheriff, CUA head of innovation, said the program “is an excellent opportunity for start-ups to lay the foundations to become strong global businesses.”
CUA has been supporting River City Labs since 2015 and has so far sponsored 25 teams.
Applications for the CUA Conduit Pre-Accelerator Program close on June 11.
