A provider of comprehensive P&C insurance software and services for insurers worldwide has appointed a seasoned insurance technology professional to lead its Asia-Pacific growth strategy.

Duck Creek Technologies has named Shaji Sethu as managing director for Asia Pacific. In his new role, Sethu will be tasked with expanding the company's presence in the region, focusing initially on Australia and New Zealand.

Sethu has more than two decades of leadership and general-management experience. He most recently worked at Melbourne-based Oakton, a subsidiary of Dimension Data and NTT Group, where he drove sales and delivery of cloud-based platform solutions, managed services, and IT transformation consulting.

“The APAC market plays a crucial role in our future growth strategy,” said Eugene Van Biert, chief revenue officer of Duck Creek Technologies. “Shaji’s knowledge of the region and his deep technical, consulting, and especially cloud-services experience, makes him a great choice to lead our APAC expansion.”
