The Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC) has welcomed a new addition to its senior executive team.

Janice Nand, previously a director of report at the financial services royal commission, was promoted as a general counsel on the ARPC senior executive team. She joined ARPC in February as senior manager of governance, compliance, and board secretariat.

“As general counsel, Janice brings a valuable legal skillset to the senior executive team which will strengthen our organisational governance and leadership,” said Christopher Wallace, ARPC chief executive.

Prior to the royal commission, Nand worked as a partner with HWL Ebsworth Lawyers in Canberra and with Sparke Helmore Lawyers in Sydney in addition to the role of country counsel with Boeing in Sydney.
