Gallagher Bassett (GB) has tapped a former Marsh leader to take the new role of client services director for Australia.

Michelle Klobas, former managing principal at Marsh for three years, joins GB’s Melbourne office, bringing with her more than 25 years of insurance industry experience. She has held similar roles across the industry.

Klobas will be in charge of leading GB’s transition from a decentralised client-service structure to one national team. She will manage client services across all product lines including self-insurance, workers’ compensation, general insurance, and consultancy.

“Michelle’s significant market and product experience, as well as her leadership capabilities, position her well to join GB and lead our client services team. I’m delighted to welcome Michelle to the team here at GB,” said Stacey Williams, chief client officer.
