Gallagher Bassett has appointed David Teall to a newly created role within its executive team in Australia.

Teall has assumed the role of general manager of finance, after successfully leading the transition of icare insurance for NSW general-lines portfolio. He has held positions in GB’s general insurance, self-insurance, and Australian life operations since joining the third-party insurance claims administrator in 2012.

“At GB, we believe our people are our strength, and it is exciting to be able to fill this role from within,” said John McNamara, GB Australia CEO. “I’m so proud of David’s success, it is fantastic to see his hard work and achievements recognised with his move to the executive level.”

Prior to GB, Teall held senior leadership roles with British Telecom, Fidelity National Information Services, and Vonage.
