Gallagher Bassett has appointed Brett Burnham as client relationship manager, replacing Jarrad Wegener who was recently promoted to the role of customer experience manager.

In his new role, Burnham will manage teams of business account managers in Victoria and South Australia, as well as engage with the broader business and clients on ways to improve performance, service, and outcomes.

Burnham initially joined GB in 2002 and for six years held a range of operational management roles, before leaving the company to join CGU Insurance. He spent eight years at CGU, most recently as manager for client relationships for its Victorian business.

Burnham returned to GB in 2017 as Victorian sales manager and was appointed client relationship manager in October.

Burnham "has a wealth of knowledge and experience, both in claims management and client services,” said Mark Daniels, GB’s general manager for Victorian workers’ compensation. “I’m confident that he will work with our clients to continue to improve performance, whilst also working with the team at GB to enhance the level of service they are providing our clients."
