Soon after the release of its latest advertising campaign 'As Australian as it Gets,' CGU Insurance has acquired a new media-buying partner in Mindshare Australia.

Mindshare has held the group account of CGU's parent company, IAG, since 2015, but it will be the first time the agency will work with CGU.

“We’re pleased to extend our partnership with Mindshare as we move into 2018,” said Brent Smart, IAG chief marketing officer, in a mumbrella report. “It will be an exciting year for IAG brands, and our work with Mindshare will be key to our ongoing success.”

“We are thrilled to be working with CGU and including them in our overall IAG relationship,” said Mindshare CEO Katie Rigg-Smith. “We have thoroughly enjoyed working with IAG over the past few years and very much look forward to working with CGU team going forward.”
