Industry stalwart Keith Till has retired from Zurich Financial Services Australia after 50 years in the saddle.

Since joining the insurer in 1963, national broker manager Till has become known in broker circles as the “relationship king’ in the market. He established Zurich Broker Services and was actively involved in training and educating brokers, and was a mentor on the National Insurance Brokers Association program.

Till will be replaced by Lori Messori, whose career spans 30 years. Messori worked for Willis and QBE before joining Zurich earlier this year.

Zurich head of commercial distribution Anthony Pagano said Messori’s appointment continued the insurer’s focus on operating through brokers as well as its desire to support and grow key broker and cluster partnerships.

He added: “As Australia's only insurer focused solely on brokers, it's essential we have people like Lori on board to build on our broker relationships.”
