Kogan.com continues to grow its suite of insurance offerings with the launch of pet and life insurance products.

The company entered into the insurance market in August 2017 with home, contents, travel, car, and landlord insurance, and launched health insurance just this February.

The ASX-listed online retailer has now made available to its community of more than 8 million subscribers Kogan Pet Insurance, which will be underwritten by PetSure, and Kogan Life Insurance, which will be issued by Hannover Life Re of Australasia and distributed by Greenstone Financial Services.

Kogan said its customers now have a range of pet insurance plans to choose from, to provide them peace of mind when medical needs and costs arise.

“We know pets are an important part of many families, and we’re proud to provide Aussies with a simple and affordable option to ensure their pets are covered, without breaking the bank,” said David Shafer, Kogan.com executive director.

Kogan Life Insurance, meanwhile, offers customers access to “better life and insurance policies,” the insurer said in a statement.

“Affordable options are designed to give customers peace of mind and relieve financial stress during difficult times,” Shafer said. “From today, smart shoppers will be able rest peacefully at night knowing they are covered should the unexpected happen.”
