Moray & Agnew, a national law firm built on a solid history in insurance law, has announced 13 senior promotions, effective January 01, 2023.

Two senior lawyers, Maureen Carrigan from the Brisbane team and Safa Jan from the Sydney team, will join the partnership.

Carrigan (pictured, left) has more than 15 years of experience handling personal injuries and CTP claims and conducting insurance litigation, including significant experience managing defendant CTP litigation in Queensland and New South Wales (NSW). She focuses on ensuring her clients' matters are resolved as cost-effectively and expeditiously as possible, relying on her experience and thorough but practical approach to file management to achieve positive outcomes for her clients.

Jan (pictured, right) has in-depth expertise and knowledge in managing workers’ compensation and work injury damages claims in NSW. She is highly regarded by her clients for her skilful conduct of litigation and is dedicated to servicing clients and building long-term relationships.

  • Alannah Dewing, Sydney, Insurance;
  • Stephanie Lee, Sydney, Insurance;

  • Emma Petrie, Sydney, Insurance;
  • Jordan Sacco, Brisbane, Government;
  • Jessica Thurtell, Sydney, Life Insurance; and
  • Erin Woodward, Newcastle, Insurance.

Meanwhile, the firm's new senior associates are:

  • Noweid Ali, Melbourne, Property;
  • Victoria Ginnane, Sydney, Government; and
  • Patrick Warnes, Sydney, Insurance.
