NSW government's insurance and care provider has supported a fundraiser for the Sydney Children’s Hospital through its participation in the recently held Procare 2018 Charity Cricket Challenge.

The Procare Group-run event brought together key players in the workers' compensation industry, including icare scheme agents EML, GIO, and Allianz, as well as representatives from several broker firms. The event raised a total of $75,734.

The sum was presented to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, and will be used to fund paediatric care, research, and state-of-the-art equipment.

“We are proud to have been involved in the Procare 2018 Charity Cricket Challenge with our peers and friends from the insurance industry,” said Paul McIntyre, icare’s agent relationship manager. “The event is a wonderful opportunity for the insurance industry to come together through a love of cricket and competition for an important cause and raise funds for seriously ill children in need. We thank Procare Group for organising such a fantastic and worthwhile event for the ninth year in a row.”
