PSC Insurance Group has announced the appointment of a new group CEO for its business.

Rohan Stewart will take on the role with immediate effect, combing his current role as group COO.

The group announced the combined role that reflects “the lead management role of group operations that Stewart has been fulfilling for some time” in a statement to the ASX.

Paul Dwyer will remain as group managing director and also take on a new role of executive deputy chairman. He will continue to focus on developing the group’s “strong” investments and acquisitions pipeline, the statement said.

Joshua Reid will remain as group CFO and both Stewart and Reid will report directly to Dwyer and the board.

Stewart joined PSC Insurance Group in 2009 and was appointed to his current role as group COO in 2015, having previously led the firm’s broking business.

“The appointment is recognition of the position Stewart has in practice been fulfilling, and the results of the business since the IPO of PSI in December 2015,” the statement continues.
