The Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA), a professional institution and industry association for risk managers, has appointed Simon Levy as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective immediately.

Levy has 25 years of risk management and executive experience, working for globally recognised brands in Australasia and the UK. He also has a wealth of RMIA knowledge, having served at Chapter level before joining the board as an RMIA director. He replaced RMIA interim CEO Jason Smith.

The RMIA board of directors said they are confident that Levy will maintain and develop the organisation’s key focus on the needs of RMIA members and the development of the risk management profession.
