Sedgwick has named Devin Shillington national account executive for the company’s operations in western Canada.
As a new member of the business development and sales team of Sedgwick, Shillington will focus his expertise on handling claims for clients in western Canada, a release said. He will be based in Sedgwick’s office in Calgary, Alberta, where he will work closely with the company’s western regional team.
He has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of managing business operations, optimising processes, and creating an engaging work environment. A release noted that he possesses “extensive managerial experience and a thorough understanding of the claims adjusting world,” particularly when it comes to commercial property, large loss, and subrogation.
“Devin brings passion and expertise to our team and to our customers,” said Sedgwick Canada’s senior vice president of national sales, Gary Gardner. “Western Canada is a critical component of our Canadian growth plans, and this appointment is a key part of that plan. We are excited to watch Devin excel in his new role.”
