Why employees stay

Being a leader does not mean you have to do everything by yourself. As a leader, you must know how to manage your team and keep them satisfied.

In an interview with IB, Skiadas said he leads a team of 11 – including his brother, wife, and daughter – and keeps the team members satisfied by improving their workplace environment.

“It's important to ensure that your team is happy with their workplace environment,” he said. “If they love where they work and they care about what they are doing, it's reflected in their work, and clients really see that.”

“We have experienced significant growth in the last 12 months,” he added. “While we don't always discuss work at the dinner table, it does come up a lot, and the subject of insurance is always around us.”
