Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appoints ANZ leader

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Christine Bell (pictured) as country head for Australia & New Zealand, effective August 03.

Bell, who will be based in Sydney, succeeds Melanie Slack who took up the role as head of UK, Ireland, SA & EMEA wholesale.

In her new role, Bell will oversee the development and implementation of the company’s commercial insurance offering in Australia and New Zealand, which provides property, liability, financial lines, and construction cover. She will also be a member of the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Asia-Pacific executive team.

Bell joins from Chubb, where she was most recently regional manager of NSW/ACT. She also worked for QBE and Vero earlier in her career, which spans more than three decades.
