The deals follow UAC's launch of an industry-first sponsorship proposal, which seeks to engage insurers, agencies, and service providers who are seeking greater involvement in UAC’s premier event.
“Four of the available options were snapped up very quickly and we’re in talks with other potential sponsors,” said William Legge, UAC general manager.
In a statement, UAC said accountancy firm WLM is sponsoring the lunch; business systems provider Gratex International is sponsoring the coffee cart; while the event app and the volunteer staff branding are sponsored by website developer Bark Productions and compliance and risk management services provider Gold Seal, respectively.
Legge said the format for this year's expo was altered to give brokers more time to interact with exhibitors. Instead of a formal lunch with a guest speaker, the expo will remain open until 2:30pm with a buffet lunch and drinks provided for all brokers.
Registrations to exhibit and/or attend a pre-expo breakfast have already opened via the UAC website.
