The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has announced the Victorian/Tasmanian regional finalists for the Young Professional Broker of the Year award, which recognises the broking industry’s rising stars under the age of 35.

Vying for the Vero-sponsored award are Nick Daffy of PNO Insurance, Pat Musngi of Gallagher, and Alyssa Sanfilippo of Bovill Risk & Insurance Consultants.

“These three finalists are the reason Vero has been a proud supporter of NIBA’s Young Professionals and the Warren Tickle Memorial Award for more than two decades,” said Megan Lewis, Vero’s state manager for Victoria/Tasmania.

NIBA CEO Dallas Booth congratulated the Victorian/Tasmanian regional finalists, as he noted the significant number of “extremely high-calibre” nominations NIBA received this year.

The Victoria/Tasmania region winners will be announced at the NIBA Victorian Gala Lunch on May 24 at Crown Aviary. The regional winners will then compete for the Warren Tickle Memorial Award for Young Professional Insurance Broker of the Year, which will be awarded at the 2019 NIBA Convention on the Gold Coast.
