XL Catlin has confirmed its latest senior appointment, naming Jonathan Moss as its new portfolio solutions manager for Australia.
Based in Sydney, Moss is charged with delivering enhanced portfolio solutions across the country, ensuring business alignment with brokers and managing relationships.
“Jon’s appointment highlights the strategic importance of portfolio solutions to the intermediated market in Australia, and demonstrates our continued investment in serving this important area as it continues to develop,” said Jonathon Mead, head of client and broker management for APAC.
Robin Johnson, country manager for Australia, also said he was “delighted” to have Jon join the company’s ever growing team.
“His wealth of experience and relationships will enable us to bring XL Catlin’s unique portfolio solutions capabilities to even more brokers across Australia,” he said.
Moss joins XL Catlin from Zurich, where he most recently held the position of commercial state manager for NSW, driving sales and distribution for the state across all product lines.
Prior to this, he held various positions on both the distribution and underwriting sides at Chubb and Finn Foster APB Insurance Brokers.
