At the 2022 Insurance Business Australia (IB) Awards, insurtech Stelvio won an IB Excellence Award for Best Service Provider.

In a recent IBTV episode, Stelvio Australia general manager Yannick Giguère delved into one of Stelvio’s main products, the EstImage product suite.

EstImage is a cloud-based motor assessing and insurance management software platform that helps Australian insurance organisations solve complex business challenges – including supplier and repairer management and end-to-end communication with key stakeholders – by maximising their efficiency while assisting customers in repairing, replacing, or reimbursing damaged goods. It also helps insurance businesses move beyond assessing by delivering a complete workflow and supplier management solution combined with a total communications hub for insurance providers, suppliers, and repairers.

Giguère said EstImage motor, part of the EstImage product suite, has been the insurtech’s flagship product for a long time.

“It serves organisations involved in the assessing and repairs processes, [including] insurers, brokers, assessors, repairs, and self-insured fleets,” he said. “When I talk about repairs, it starts with the triage of the job allocating to the appropriate supplier coding, assessing, authorising the repairs, and invoicing.”

Giguère said EstImage is flexible as its suite of products may also be used for the property insurance industry.

For example, “as a client, you can use EstImage connect as a standalone application or as part of a full motor or property solution,” he said. “You can adapt the use of the product depending on your processes.”
