AA Insurance scoops Canstar Blue Customer Satisfaction Award

AA Insurance has won Canstar Blue’s 2018 Most Satisfied Customers Award, for the sixth year running.

Every year, Canstar Blue surveys policyholders across New Zealand to find out how they rate their insurers. This year, AA Insurance topped its customer rating review of home and contents insurance in NZ, achieving maximum scores in six out of seven categories including ease of claim, process, speed of response, quality of service and communications.

According to AA Insurance head of marketing and distribution Richard Park, the award recognises the dedication and commitment the team at AA Insurance has for providing the best customer service possible from sales to service to claims.

“Our customers have come to trust that AA Insurance will behave in a genuine manner, always put them first, and be there when they need us,” Park said. “We’re really proud to receive this award, and of our people who are there for our customers every day.”

Runners-up to AA Insurance were ANZ, State, Tower and Vero scoring four-stars in overall customer satisfaction, while AMI and Westpac scored individual ratings of three stars.

Canstar Blue commissioned I-view to survey 2,500 New Zealand consumers across a range of categories to measure and track customer satisfaction. The outcomes reported are the results from customers who currently have a home and contents insurance policy and have made a claim in the last three years – in this case, 639 New Zealanders.
