The New Zealand Automobile Association (NZAA) has appointed Kath Woollard as general manager, channel strategy and delivery, effective in August.

Bringing more than two decades in the financial services sector, Woollard will join NZAA after three years with Fidelity Life as chief insurance officer. She was previously executive general manager, claims at Gallagher Bassett and has held various senior operations management roles with Sovereign.

“Kath is well used to running large, complex teams, and incredibly adept at drilling down to exactly what customers need and then delivering that in a way that ensures their loyalty,” said NZAA CEO Nadine Tereora. “She is ideal for the role of GM CS&D, as her core belief of service above all else, is absolutely attuned to the DNA of the association. Kath is tremendously excited about joining the AA, and keen to build on our consistently great culture. As a truly inspiring leader, known for her positive and inclusive style, I am confident that she is the right person to set our channels up for a sustainable and successful future, and ensure that we retain our place as one of New Zealand’s most trusted brands.”
